Dear art lovers,
We have invited around 30 participants from Germany and other countries to address the topic and take a stand with their works not only on the facts of an acute threat situation but also on their own feelings. Among them are: Akbar Akbarpour, Micha Ammann & guests, Marion Albrecht, Georg Baier, Sascha Banck, Thomas Binz, Sabine Deifel, Karin Drechsler-Ruhmann, Anjo Haase, Anton Hantschel, Franz Janetzko, Winston Kelley, Piotr Korzeniowski, Irene Kress-Schmid, Hartmut Kuhnke, Kamil Kuzko, Ono Ludwig, Khrystyna Maidaniuk, Joanna Maxellon, Jakub Najbart, Gerlinde Pistner, Janusz Radtke, Haile-King Rubie, Petra Schleifenheimer, Robert Schlund, Detlef Schweiger, Stella Springhart, Ellen Sturm, tiutia putia, Christian Vittinghoff.
On Saturday, September 7 at 7 p.m., an exhibition of contemporary visual art will reopen in the rooms of the old malthouse of the former Weißenohe monastery after a two-year break1.
The historic rooms and the growing number of visitors are presenting us with increasing challenges. There may therefore be restrictions on access to the building at the vernissage. Of course, all visitors will be able to enter the exhibition, just not all at the same time. The opening will take place in the Brauereihof (as in previous years).
Best regards,
Anton Hantschel, Lutz Krutein, Janusz Radtke, Katharina Winkler

Since 1999, the Klosterbrauerei has been involved with contemporary art and has made its premises in the old malt house available for the KunstRaum Weißenohe exhibitions.
We believe that contemporary art should be promoted as it reflects our current society. The KunstRaum Weißenohe is a non-profit association dedicated to the aforementioned art movement and accepts and presents various artists for exhibition each year.
Once a year, always at the beginning/mid-September, an art exhibition takes place in our premises.
You can now also admire the effects in the brewery courtyard.
This year, thanks to Corona, we are suspending our art exhibition because it was not possible for us to plan how far the situation would progress in September.
Nevertheless, we already have a theme for the 2021 exhibition: SUPER HEROES! You can also find out more about our previous exhibitions at
