When you enter our beautiful brewery courtyard, you will see and feel the walls steeped in history. Over the centuries, many people have walked through the Klosterhof and experienced quite a few things. There have been many exciting times! Times when the monastery was founded, times of disputes over faith and property, times of changing bishoprics and times of secularization. In private ownership, the monastery experienced times of the German Empire as well as the First and Second World Wars. Despite all the political turmoil, there have been many wonderful celebrations, weddings, funerals and several generational changes.
The brewery will soon have been family-owned for 200 years. We will celebrate many more wonderful festivals together and experience a lot.
