A Pilsner brewed like in the old days, with the love and brewing skills of today!
At the suggestion of Landbierparadies Nuremberg, the brand of Gentner Bräu- Wolframs Eschenbach, which was closing down at the time, was continued. In keeping with such a history, the result had to be a beer with forward-looking sustainability. Our Bioland-certified Minnesänger Pils is dedicated to the minstrel Wolfram von Eschenbach. Alongside Walter von der Vogelweide, he was one of the greatest German poets of the Middle Ages. He lived from 1175 to 1220 and was a Franconian, like us. “Brewed in the Weißenohe monastery brewery (the Benedictine order founded by Count Aribo and his wife in 1050) where fine beer was brewed during Wolfram von Eschenbach’s lifetime and is still brewed today”.
