Our Altfränkisch is a red beer specialty brewed according to Franconian tradition. We still brew it today, just as my ancestors have always brewed Weissenoher. The traditional, elaborate boiling mash process gives this beer its distinctive character. Selected malts and fine aromatic hops give Altfränkisch its full-bodied taste and subtle tartness. Bottom-fermented and then matured for a long time, this is a classic Franconian beer for every moment.
Our Kloster Sud is a red-golden rarity brewed according to the Märzenbier tradition. The so-called three-mash process, which is rarely used today, gives this beer its distinctive character. Selected malts and fine aromatic hops give the dark red Kloster brew a balanced malty sweetness, fruity acidity and a subtle tartness. Bottom-fermented and then matured for a long time, this beer is as much a special treat today as it was then.
Our Eucharius Märzen is a chestnut-red specialty and is still brewed as it was in the days before the invention of ammonia refrigerators, when summer brewing was prohibited. An intensive boil mashing process and pithy malts give it its powerful body. The extra alcohol and hops gave it the necessary shelf life for storage over the summer in the rock cellars. As an unfiltered and naturally cloudy cellar beer, it is filled directly from the storage tank into the bottle. This preserves all the valuable aromatic ingredients.
Our Bonifatius Dunkel is a rustic country beer brewed in the old monastic tradition. The use of dark, extract-rich malts gives the beer its strong body and full malt aroma.
Our Classic is a specialty beer in the tradition of a Dortmund export. With its own mineral-rich water and selected ingredients in BIOLAND quality, this beer impresses with a harmonious balance of an expressive yet mild hop note and a pleasing malt aroma. Bottom-fermented and then matured for a long time, the result is a refreshing taste experience of a more modern kind.
Our Bonator Doppelbock is a strong, dark red beer specialty brewed in the monastic tradition.
A traditional, elaborate boiling mashing process gives this beer its distinctive baroque body. Noble malts, kilned at high temperatures, and fine Franconian aroma hops give Bonator its powerful, round and velvety taste. Bottom-fermented and then matured cold for a long time. A classic not just for Lent.
